Current projects
Change Agents UK are involved in a range of exciting and cutting edge projects that bring learning and sustainability to life. We are currently offering fully funded (travel, accommodation and subsistence) volunteering placement across Europe through Leonardo and European Voluntary Service. Both programmes offer participants a fantastic experience of living overseas and developing work and life skills, particularly in the context of Sustainability.
For something a little closer to home, the Ignite webinar series, run during Autumn 2011 is designed to inspire Change Agents of the future. The series will include a host of exceptional speakers who will share their ideas and tips on how to become Change Agents, in work and lifestyles. For those people that want to get their hands dirty and gain new skills and experience, we have created the Change Agents Volunteer network, which allows people to give their time, in their own time, to undertake a range of different tasks.
The NCS 360 programme is a part of the national government funded National Citizen Service summer programme.
Our longest running project focuses on helping sustainability graduates take their first steps on the career ladder. This project started 15 years ago due to the complete lack of support for environmental careers.

We offer graduate placements in partnership with the Environmental Association for Universities and Colleges (EAUC) to build capacity and deliver sustainability across Universities, Colleges and Communities. CUSP was developed in 2009.

Change Agents UK are founding members of Peterborough Green Drinks, a monthly social networking event. Green Drinks is a great way for like minded environmentalists and Change Agents to share ideas, information and opportunities over a beer (or lemonade).
It's not all work and no play for the staff here at Change Agents UK. In our spare time we are all founding members of Transition Rutland, a grassroots movement designed to help individuals and communities take small and practical steps to combat the effects of Peak Oil and Climate Change.
