Local Authorities
With a third of the UK’s emissions directly influenced by local authority practice, policy and partnerships, local authorities have a vital role to play in the UK’s decarbonisation.
This course helps you embed climate action at all levels of your local authority; enabling cross-departmental knowledge building, collaboration and empowerment to achieve net zero targets.

Our practical, solution-focused content helps identify examples of carbon reduction across the sector, whilst group activities provide an opportunity to work together with other professionals to develop new ideas.

Course Options:
Our delivery utilises the Local Authorities Toolkit, which was developed in partnership with 13 local authorities across England and Wales. We have delivered this training to staff and councillors across 13 local authorities to date as well as over 500 learners across all sectors.

Three Simple Steps to...
Getting Certified
STEP 1:
Before you attend our training session, you'll be sent 2 hours of self-study material to be completed ahead of the session.

STEP 2:
All of our training sessions include 6-7 hours of live training. This can be done over one day or split across multiple days.
Our course is highly interactive, where you can collaborate and network with the other participants: this definitely isn't death by PowerPoint!

STEP 3:​
Following the training, you will submit a short Evidence Form and commit to two new actions to become certified by the Carbon Literacy Project. Our experienced Education Team have a 100% pass rate, so will support you through the whole process.
