Community Energy Project Officer

Walsall Council

£34,834 - £39,186 per annum | Full -Time | FTC until April 2027

The National Lottery Community Fund has awarded £1.5m to help local organisations in Walsall support residents and communities to act on high energy bills and the climate crisis. Walsall Council is seeking an experienced project officer to join our team as a Community Energy Project Officer to manage this project.

The Walsall Energy Action Project is a partnership project between Ryecroft NRC, Aaina Community Hub Ltd, Brownhills Community Association, Darlaston All Active, Nash Dom CIC, Walsall Working for Change CIC and Walsall Council.

Net Zero Project Officer

Walsall Council has ambitions to achieve Net Zero by 2041 in-line the West Midlands Combined Authority target.
