This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, organised and resourceful person to oversee all aspects of Boothby Wildland. The ideal candidate will live within driving distance of the Wildland, as the role will require considerable time on site. They will need to be a great project and supplier manager, with the ability to smoothly coordinate multiple activities on site, including Health and Safety processes, restoration activities and visitor management.

This role will provide support for programmes across the Innovate UK Business Connect Net Zero team’s portfolio, working with the Net Zero team, Innovate UK colleagues, external partners, and innovators.

The Net Zero team is primarily concerned with delivering programmes which enable and support the adoption of innovative net zero and sustainability technologies and approaches across the UK economy. We also cover sectors such as the water environment, digital tools for net zero, climate adaptation, carbon measurement and management, circular economy and air quality.

We are looking for an experienced project manager with a passion for positive action on climate change to act as the Project Manager of the north-east regional hub for the national Climate Ambassadors programme: https://climateambassadors.org.uk/.

The postholder will lead the project and operational management of the regional hub for the national Climate Ambassadors programme working in partnership with the project’s Principal Investigator. Regional hub project managers across the country are critical to the success of the project through their work in expanding and accelerating the programme’s reach.
