Sustainability Engagement Officer (Waste & Recycling)

Join our forward-thinking Environmental Services team as a Recycling Support Officer (internal title) and help lead the Borough toward a greener future. In this key role, you’ll engage directly with the community to promote recycling and waste reduction, launch and support new schemes, and use data-driven insights to target and improve underperforming areas. You’ll visit households, deliver engaging campaigns, and advise both residents and developers on best practices, all while maintaining accurate records and driving real environmental change. If you’re passionate about sustainability, have strong communication and analytical skills, and want to make a measurable difference, we want to hear from you. A driving licence and IT proficiency are essential.
