Sustainability Leadership Skills Programme for staff & students

Our flagship programme offers a holistic development journey for students
and staff ready to delve into the complex skills needed to deliver real
sustainability solutions. By combining practical skills, personal growth, core
concepts, and thought leadership, participants leave equipped with confidence
and motivation to navigate complexity, foster innovation and build a genuine set
of effective sustainability solutions acrosso the fabric of their cultures and roles.
Our group packages are designed for cohorts of 5 - 25 participants. The full programme includes 20-hours of live workshops mixing skills application, reflection activities & lecture-style teaching. We offer a 'pick-and-mix' approach so you can select the key content and length to suit your groups' needs and aims, as we design the perfect adaptation for your teams context and aspirations.

Certified Carbon Literacy training
Carbon Literacy is “An awareness of the carbon costs and impacts of everyday activities, and the ability and motivation to reduce emissions, on an individual, community and organisational basis.” Join over 160,000 others who have become certified with The Carbon Literacy Project, including 1000+ that our team have trained.
This one-day course, which has become a core part of sustainability engagement across the sector, is a perfect opportunity to boost your students' CV's and engage your staff with an understanding of the key impacts, risks, opportunities and solutions to climate action. With the requirement for all participants to pledge two carbon-saving commitments, it empower all teams to become sustainability champions, using their role-specific expertise to feed organisation-wide change.

Planning

Delivery
We deliver engaging and lively courses online or in-person using our Carbon Literacy for Change Agents course or the MMU toolkit. We tailor it to your context and aims and lead the whole process so you don't have to worry.

Support
To get certified, participants must submit evidence to the Carbon Literacy Project. We review their submission and offer 1-2-1 support where needed to ensure high pass rates and no unnecessary costs.

Upskill
If you want to run the training in-house, we offer a facilitator support programme, and can also co-facilitate sessions while you gain the confidence to go solo.
