Sim Dharjal-Field

Charity Trustee

Simran Dhanjal-Field is passionate about helping people and organisations thrive. As People, Operations & Culture Lead and advisory practice facilitator at the Forward Institute, the responsible leadership foundation, she draws on a decade of experience leading purpose-driven teams and supporting others to grow through change. In this role, she provides both internal leadership and external consultancy support, working with organisations to strengthen their cultures and leadership practices.

Before joining the Forward Institute, Sim was CEO of Student Hubs, a youth social action charity which focused on behaviour change activities, supporting university students to become active citizens for life. Her journey with Student Hubs began as a volunteer at university running activity days for young people from underserved communities, continuing a lifelong commitment to unlocking opportunities for young people and widening access to meaningful experiences.

Sim's professional passion lies in the power of inclusive, values-led leadership, building teams where people feel seen, supported and able to do their best work, driving both positive wellbeing and high impact.

Outside of work, she can be found reading science-fiction horror, writing not very good poetry, rock climbing, rambling, or simply hanging out with her cat Jiji.
