Hello, I’m Charlotte! After completing a degree in Environmental Management and Sustainable Development, I started my career in education. I am a qualified secondary science teacher and experienced FE lecturer. I went from science tutoring to teaching biology, then lecturing in animal management before joining Change Agents UK. Sharing knowledge and information with students and facilitating their projects, particularly ones in my area of interest (biodiversity), was fulfilling and I learned a lot, despite being the teacher!

Sustainability has always been an important part of my practice as a teacher and educator; whether it was midnight walks tracing hedgehogs or taking the students out for a hedgerow survey, I have always been keen to stay close to my values. My role as Sustainability Education Officer at Change Agents is perfect for me, combining my natural interest and passion for sustainability with the skills and experience I have developed in education. I am always eager to support people of all ages and stages - students and staff! - in starting or speeding up their journey towards a sustainable future.
