“What do you enjoy the most about your job?” A question that I get asked on a regular basis, and my answer is about five minutes long, but here are the highlights…

…hearing the joy in the voice of someone being offered a job that they are truly passionate about, being a small part of their journey towards a long, fulfilling and impactful career…seeing the smile on the face of a client when they find a talented new member of their team…hearing how our Change Agents’ confidence blossoms once in post… and finally, thoroughly believing in the work that I’m doing, the organisation I’m working for and the stonking team of talented people I do it with.

Having been part of the Sustainability Recruitment Team at Change Agents UK since 2015, I have worked on roughly 200 recruitments across a multitude of sectors spanning small charities, membership organisations, local authorities, universities and global companies. The roles have been equally varied – it’s amazing how much knowledge you pick up along the way. I love learning about the roles that we are recruiting for and have developed a wide range of knowledge of the practical delivery of sustainability projects!

It’s not all recruitment though, I get to develop and deliver training, specialising in careers and employability skills, and support the professional development of young people through the Skills Development Programme and Sustainable Futures.
